What Is Wow Animation?

Wow Animation is our new creative program for children and their families. After school and during school breaks, our students will be able to learn different animation techniques, write scripts, create puppets, shoot and edit their own animated videos. It is a program that teaches technology, arts and crafts, storytelling, critical thinking, problem solving and collaboration in a friendly and fun environment. Our goal is to provide affordable and quality learning opportunities to everyone who is interested in the art of animated movie-making.We are fortunate to have professional instructors, equipment and software to provide the best possible learning experience.

Masha Kakhova, a former animator and creative director, is the program coordinator of Wow Animation. “We are planning classes on cutout puppet animation, claymation, brick filming and pixilation,” Kakhova said. “Our goal is to provide quality learning opportunities to everyone who is interested in the art of animated filmmaking.

Our news and classes schedule

Please, feel free to contact us if you are interested to sign up your child for a class, but our schedule doesn’t work for you. We are trying to fit everyone’s needs and be flexible about timing and dates. Also, we are working to get scholarships for children from low income families,  for gifted young artists and for those who are extremely interested in the art of animation, film-making or writing. We are encouraging you to apply for our scholarships if you feel your children may match our requirements.
